The Industrial Equipment Maintenance Program is a two year program designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of Industrial Equipment Maintenance to meet the needs of local businesses, industries and the labor market. Training will priovide students an opportunity to develop a broad-based set of skills in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical maintenance.
FIRST YEAR
FUNDAMENTALS OF ELECTRICITY
Electrical safety
Fundamental blueprint reading
Electrical math concepts
Electrical multimeter
Basic circuits
Connections and wire splices
Participating in the student orgranization
INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL WIRING
Install conduit and raceways
Maintain lighting and receptacle outlets
